For me, childrens book illustrations should captivate adults aswell as their children, Its important to me that my artwork grows, tells a story, captures a mood and brings the audience into a world made just for that book. As a kid my fondest memory was going to the library, to get lost in all kinds of worlds, seeing what books where new and staring at the pages. No matter what was going on in life I could escape to all kinds of worlds these artists and authors had created. The idea of bringing that feeling to even just one child, makes this whole journey worth it. Now to be an adult and have the opportunity to work with people in order to make their worlds come to life,
